Behind Original Tom 

  Heyy! My name is Georgie and I'm the creator of Original Tom. I started up this small jewellery making business about 4 years ago and have been moulding, baking and tweaking clay ever since.

 It all began one evening whilst staying with my Grandmother and looking for something to keep me busy. I brought a block of clay from a local post office, and it all spiralled from there. I made about 50 miniature clay cupcakes that evening and thought they were just too adorable not to share with the world!

   I like things that are a bit different, one offs, and love all things miniature (teacup pigs, aw!) so making tiny charms seemed like the way to go.

   Now, not only do i make our signature miniature charms, but bracelets, bookmarks, earrings and lots of other cool creations. 

 

Our Name

  I wanted my company name to most importantly represent me. Being from London, I figured a great way to do this would be using cockney rhyming slang. Slang for "jewellery" is "Tom foolery", so I took the Tom, added the Original (being all handmade) and shazzam! Original Tom was born with Tom Cat being our mascot!
